NEW YORK, NY – LinkNYC, in partnership with StoryCorps and caribBEING, is displaying creative content to commemorate Pride Month and Caribbean-American Heritage Month.

These campaigns amplify stories from LGBTQIA+ voices, historic Caribbean-American figures, and iconic Caribbean-American-owned local businesses. The creative content — curated in partnership with StoryCorps and caribBEING — aims to bring the heritage of these vibrant communities to life on city streets through LinkNYC’s high definition, 55-inch digital displays.

“Our goal at LinkNYC is to facilitate meaningful connections between New Yorkers of different backgrounds and the world around them,” said Nicole Robinson-Etienne, Senior Director of External Affairs at LinkNYC. “Our partnerships with StoryCorps and caribBEING help us elevate new perspectives for folks in every New York City neighborhood.”

LinkNYC teamed up with StoryCorps to showcase uplifting narratives from LGBTQIA+ storytellers that promote compassion and unity during Pride Month. Likewise, LinkNYC worked with caribBEING to celebrate the vibrant heritage and significant contributions of the city’s Caribbean-American communities during Caribbean-American Heritage Month.

LinkNYC collaborates with nonprofit and community-based organizations year-round to honor New York City’s many unique communities.
